PBIT = Powered By IT
A. Registration
- Any person wishing to be hosted on our network is required to comply with the registration process
- Upon registering the customer will be issued a customer number which is to be used in all dealings - transactions/communications - with PBIT.
- A single registration may last indefinitely, being terminated at the company's discretion.
B. Hosting
- PBIT is not VAT registered, and all stated prices therefore do not include VAT.
- Monthly payments are subject to change without notification.
- Advance payments will be unaffected by interim price adjustments. However, once the term has lapsed the new fees will apply at the start of the new term.
- A notification period of one month has to be given in writing to cancel a monthly hosting plan.
- Hosting plans for a set period that have been paid for in advance are non-refundable on cancellation.
C. Privacy Policy
- PBIT will not sell your personal or financial information to any third parties.
- PBIT will not give your personal or financial information to any law enforcement authorities or legal agents without a proper court order, subpoena or warrant.
D. Hosting Limitations
- Any content on your Web site that is prohibited by the laws of South Africa, obscene under the laws of South Africa, or otherwise considered by PBIT, in its sole discretion, to be offensive, disruptive, obscene, inappropriate or otherwise an administrative burden, may be removed or deleted without any notice or compensation to you.
- No activities that may overload the servers of PBIT with heavy usage, or that requires a disproportionate amount of resources of its servers, including but not limited to, highly active CGI will not be permitted.
- No IRC (Internet Relay Chat) Servers will be permitted.
- If you exceed the bandwidth limit for the service subscribed to, you must either upgrade the subscribed service to a service that accommodates such usage, purchase additional bandwidth, or reduce such bandwidth usage. Failure to comply will result in termination of your account, without any compensation to you.
E. Terms and Conditions
- PBIT may update or change these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice.
- Any disputes will be dealt with in South African courts, governed by South African law.
